but its not enough for me to go back.
What a lovely sense of freedom I have these days. I think what bothers me most is the fact that I now that I have time I worry about waisting it.
ah the dilemmas we face.
The only thing about Beach is it requires that everyone get up at the crack of dawn or before (around 4am to be exact) in order to make it. (ON A SATURDAY) Thus, here I am in an internet cafe in lovely Fujisawa.
I have to say, this place is swank yo. I just took a shower, dryed my hair, picked up some comics to read and sampled the free refil drink bar and it only cost 25 dollars to stay all night. They also of course have internet, games, dvds! AND MUCH MUCH MORE The whole floor of our 3 person room is padded as well so there:s ample space to sleep in. I have to say I am a fan. If I was homeless, I:d totally come to these places.
oh and they also have corn soup. Talk about class.
Time to read some comics and relax on my padded floor

Last night I participated in a men's dorm beauty pageant. I gave it my all and I have to say I felt like a proud mother on graduation day. He really had fun with his whip too. that ones a little blurry but.....btw: all of the clothes being used are mine. oh dear. Too bad you can't see the lace detail around his chest.
Another week has gone by almost which means its time for ART TIME! again. I've gotten so lazy I don't even write posts in english anymore but I will ask this question, if i were to get a tattoo where would be the best spot, populous?
( art! )This is my entry for illustration friday this week. I thought I would post it here since it was partly Gina's input that made me come to a final decision on what to draw. Without Gina the picture bellow would probably contain nazis and Native Americans. Instead my Illustration friday (theme: fleeting) drawing for this week is this:
because what's more fleeting than a man and a very very small piece of cake? Note: He's also wearing a monocle.
in other news, I never thought that the drawability of the teachers face would be a distraction during class but it's really hard to keep my focus in that class. I just love it. He looks like a majestic condor!
but not yet. I have to go for a bike ride and my god it's hot!
I've also come to a final decision. As much as I love to run around like a crazy person more than three times a week, I will quit WINDS. It's high time I started taking back the night! aka Monday wednesday Friday afternoon. I want to focus more on what makes me happy and accomplished.
So people what should I do in my spare time?
Russian folk dancing is a great way to stretch out jeans after they've shrunk in the dryer. I suggest everyone try this out for themselves.
I know I did.

I opened CNN.com to read the news and this is what came up.
CNN is so cruel. So very cruel. I mean just look at the picture and then read the headline.
horrible people.
This morning I woke up at 8:50 on the dot! unfortunately, 8:50 is exactly when class starts and exactly 1 hour after I was planning on taking a much needed shower.
I did the valiant thing and put my clothes on and went.
Little did I know there was a wrinkle mark on my face that went from my forehead right down through my eye to the bottom of my cheek.
I was actually secretly and openly impressed and delighted.
but why was I so late this morning?
BECAUSE I WAS BEING ARTISTIC OF COURSE!!
( well maybe.... damn it I do what I want! )
wouldn't it be cool if there was a sunglasses add where broken bits of sunglasses and the models hair were used to create a regal gladiator helmet?
.... just a thought
incomplete drawing time!
yes!
......writing is just not one of my talents...( YULE! )</div>
huzzah! I mean hurray! Or rather halleluja!Isn't it amazing how many jubilant words start with H!
i digress. Actually, I was going to make this post another lonelywhine fest. Prechristmas blues comeon alot stronger in Japan than they do in America...Atleast, I think so.
think happy thoughts...ANTY TREE!!
Its funny how having more time than I need makes my feel less motivated to do productive things. Self induced boredom it is. How did people in the olden days deal? Were they just incredibly productive?
or wait they just ate, slept, drank, and had sometimes sketchy or pedo-love affairs (cough Tiberius cough I know about your little fish...) didn't they?
Maybe I'm not so bad in the whole scheme of things. I eat, I sleep, I drink....coffee,.....
I started reading some books by the author who preinvented the internet (I'm making words right and left today! hurray for the power of english) It's the perfect thing to do when its rainy and dark as it is in cali right now The only thing I regret now is that I haven't been keeping in contact with people. I'm sorry people. After all this doing nothing, I'm so exhausted that keeping track of people all over the world is just so hard. TELL ME HOW INTERESTING YOUR LIVES ARE. I'm sure they are. Even if they aren't, you can still make something up and I'll believe you.
example: Yesterday, I participated in an international unicycle race.
That wasn't so hard was it.
- My new art crush is Gianluca Fallone. Not only are his graphic designs amazing but he's also got a tattoo of an atom on his arm.
- I have been doing some art of my own! although its not as awesome or finished or fabulous as Senor Fallone, its still art and I still have fun doing it. POST APOCALYPTIC ESKIMO!
just a preview its not done yet
- Went to Mt. Fuji for a tournament in which our team did perfectly fine! The air was frigged and it poured for the entire first but that just made everything seem more epic. God people stop crying. When I'm everyone's shining beacon of emotional stability, something is definitely off. I'm surprised we even made it the way kouta and Toku drive.
- I dressed as a school girl and danced with a para para group. I'm not going to explain further.
- went to tokyo tower and the wax museum INSIDE tokyo tower. That was one of the creepiest nastiest wax museums I've ever been in. They had a bunch of wax planet of the apes sculptures and a room just entirely filled with weird old junk. (no explanations to why it was there or anything of that nature)
- Thanks Obama, I got an A on my final exam essay on American Democracy and how its perceived across the world. (So thank you Obama. If you do nothing while your president, at least you got me an A)
- I started teaching again. This time my student is a 37 year old woman who teaches Japanese as a volunteer. I think she said something about maybe thinking her son was at one point possessed by the devil but.... we'll see how that plays out
- and many other things which I'm to lazy to talk about.
Even trolling around web dictionaries is no longer safe.._.
or native american dancing
HAHAHAHAhAHAH
THE ICU security people should stop taking bikes that rightfully belong to people right now.
